About Our Medical Acupuncture Service
Medical Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique that alleviates specific pain points and physiological conditions through the strategic insertion of sterile, thin needles into precise body locations. This approach, designed to complement Western clinical practices, aims to harness the body's inherent healing mechanisms. By stimulating nerve endings, boosting blood circulation, and prompting the release of endorphins, it effectively addresses pain and fosters improved overall well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments you need depends on the condition and person we are treating. We aim to keep your appointments to a minimum. Your osteopath will be able to tell you within a short period of time whether they can treat you or if they need to refer you to someone else.
